May 2017- South Coastal Sorry Day Event

South Coastal is an Aboriginal Health Service specialising in Women’s and family health.  Working alongside our Aboriginal Health Professionals, our midwife cares for women throughout their pregnancy and early weeks with baby while our Child Health Nurse cares for the family from 0 – 4 years of age.   This year, for reconciliation week in May, we will be  holding a special day to further promote wellness in our community. 


May 2017 - Red Faces 2017

Red Faces 2017 is a fundraising event set up with all funds going to GROW SA. GROW SA is a community based charitable organisation offering a wide range or programs and services to people living with severe mental illness, their natural support network and the wider community.



April 2017 - Support the Girls

Support The Girls is committed to promoting and providing a healthier and more dignified lifestyle for women and girls.  We want to raise awareness of not just homeless women and girls in Australia but also ensure that we can provide practical and simple ways for people to help those without a place to call home. We support not only the homeless but also the needy and the vulnerable!

A bit about Variety.  We help when others can't.   Variety believes all children deserve the same opportunities in life, no matter what life throws at them.  Variety – the Children’s Charity supports children and families who are facing challenges through disadvantage, sickness or who may be living with a disability. We assist children and their families battling under a wide range of circumstances.  Assisting with financial support for essential things, when they can’t afford it, and when government assistance isn’t available.

UCWB help people and families of all backgrounds to acquire the life skills and support they need to confidently and proudly create a fulfilled and stable future for themselves.They also enable those who are experiencing personal, social or financial distress, to cope with their immediate situation with strength and dignity.

Mummapalooza is an annual Christmas party charity event designed especially for Mums to let their hair down and celebrate the end of another year.  This event proudly supports Mummy’s Wish – a foundation providing practical support to Mums and their families whilst undergoing treatment for cancer.


September 2016 - Parent Music Support Group Bi-Annual Ladies Fashion Show

Rostrevor College embraces and celebrates uniqueness, diversity & individuality of each and every student. The Parent Music Support Group are hosting a Ladies Fashion Show to raise money for the Rostrevor College Music Department while giving something for the Ladies of the School Community to enjoy.

August 2016 - Tom Price Youth Support Association

The Tom Price Youth Support Association (TPYSA) is a not for profit and non-government funded community organisation that delivers a multitude of support services to the towns of Tom Price, Paraburdoo and surrounding Aboriginal communities of Bellary Springs and Wakathuni. The "Girls In Tune" program aims to provide young women with new skills and information on self-care and management. This includes, but is not limited to: hygiene, sexual health, hair care, skin care, self-esteem and communication.


June 2016 - Sammy D Foundation

In 2008, 17-year-old Adelaide teenager Sam Davis, went out with his friends to a party on a Saturday night, just like hundreds of other teens around Australia. The difference was that Sam was to fall victim of a violent and unprovoked one punch assault that left him on life support with a fatal head injury.

Following their devastating loss, Sam's parents Nat Cook and Neil Davis founded the Sammy D Foundation, with the ultimate aim of providing skills to young people in order to prevent such a tragedy from happening in our community again.

Diabetes NSW is Australia's largest member-based charity and help assist and support over 44,000 members.

November 2015 - Christmas Party for Special Children

For more than 20 years the Christmas Parties for Special Children hold events for children with special needs right across Australia. There are four major categories of children attending the party. Children with life threatening illnesses e.g. Children with Cancer, Leukaemia; Children that are physically impaired e.g. Muscular Dystrophy; Children that are intellectually impaired e.g. Down Syndrome; and finally children that come from severely underprivileged circumstances.  [Certificate of Appreciation]

Movember Foundation  

November 2015 - Cruise for a Cause

The Cruise for a Cause charity event is run by Barossa Valley Collision and is a 100km car cruise in the Barossa Valley, followed by a show and shine being held on the 18th of November.  Money raised is donated to Movember Foundation which is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives.
